The Lower School students and their families visited Southern Hill Farms, a local blueberry farm. Students had a chance to learn about how blueberries grow, which ones to pick, and participate in picking their own blueberries then bring their handpicked fresh berries home! After picking and eating blueberries, students listened to a story then went on a class hayride. This was a great opportunity for the kids to learn hands on and experience what it is like to grow produce on a larger scale. A very fun, interactive, and educational trip for these CKV kids!
