Our Next 10 Years - Walking Together in God

Dear Village Family,

10 years ago, we opened our doors for the first time welcoming 11 families on August 1st, 2013. Today, as we welcome your family, our Village is a thriving community of nearly 400 students from the littlest ones to 9th grade.

Our journey first began in 2009 with the vision to create the global demonstration for Christian whole-child education. Three families, Des and Mary Lou Cummings, Don and Karen Harrison, and Hans and Cheryl Zwart, formed this vision believing that people with a passion for God can change the world through developing His children in excellence.

Today, our vision continues to serve as the guiding light illuminating our mission to fulfill each learner's God-created identity by developing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who love God, pursue excellence, live health, and serve others.

We live our mission daily through the CREATION Life philosophy and the International Baccalaureate programme (IB) forming our Village’s cornerstones:

• God-led: learning together how to live a life full in God
• Nature-inspired: working together to love and respect God’s creation
• Character-based: developing together the IB learner profile attributes
• Service-oriented: discovering together the joy of serving others

From this foundation, we look ahead to God’s leading over the next 10 years as we:

• Grow our community in CREATION Life
• Become dual-accredited through Christian Schools International
• Provide the IB eAssessment for our Middle Years students
• Establish the IB Continuum by authorizing through the Career-Related and Diploma Programme for 11th and 12th grade
