Campus Security
Campus Safety
  • Creation Village World School partners with DDA Security to provide trained security officers on our campus.
  • Our team is also trained utilizing the Standard Response Procedures and Measures from the I Love U Guys foundation.
  • We utilize Raptor Emergency Management System for visitor screening, campus access, and reunification.
Access to School
  • While on campus during the school day, team members and approved guests are required to clearly display a Creation Village ID badge/card on their outermost garment.
  • Family members and guests not having school-issued IDs will be checked through a sexual offender database and, once cleared, will be issued a temporary ID badge. Temporary badges will expire within 24 hours of issue.
  • Exterior doors to the Zwart Center and Harrison Hall remain locked during the school day. Entry to those buildings is only through the front main entrance. Parents and visitors gain entry remotely after being screened for an ID badge by our receptionist. Parents and visitors should check in at the front desk of the Zwart Center. Pre-approval is required to gain access.

Technology
School-wide

Student Cell phones, Smart Watches, and non-school devices are not allowed on campus for our Early Years through 8th grade students.

Primary Years

We are excited to continue our 1:1 Chromebook program with our 3rd through 5th grades. Students will be assigned a school managed Chromebook for classroom use only.

Because the Chromebook is school-issued, it comes with all of the necessary school apps and must be used as the child's primary school device. Students will set up and become familiar with their Chromebooks during the first several weeks of school.

Middle Years

Our 1:1 program provides a school-issued and school-managed Chromebook to all 6th-grade students to 9th-grade students to support their learning. Students sign a technology agreement and are responsible for the use, care, and upkeep of their Chromebooks. Computers are utilized for student work at-home and charging cords are provided as well to enable students to charge their devices. Families provide carrying cases for the laptops and are responsible for any replacement for the device and charger.

VPK

The Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) is free of charge to all 4-year-old children in Florida regardless of family income and who are not participating in the Gardiner Scholarship Program. Parents whose children are born from Feb. 2 through Sept. 1 of a calendar year may choose to enroll their child in VPK in either the school year their child turns 4 or the next.. VPK uses educational materials for specific stages of your child’s development to prepare them for school.

The Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County, provides these services to eligible families. The program is enriched with early learning activities, experiences, and high curricula standards to fit each child’s developmental needs. Participation is completely voluntary.
