Our goal is to reach out and walk beside 150 students in Kalapata. As a school, we are journeying this next year with 16 students, one chosen for each classroom to learn and grow together.
Julie from World Vision joined each of our classes last Friday to take their picture, talk about the Chosen journey, and begin to build the bridge between Celebration and Kalapata. Our partnership provides a framework for our students to actively develop learning through the first two UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as they create relationships, dive into the daily lives of students in Kalapata, Kenya, and work together on eradicating poverty and hunger.

Our opportunity as a school is unique in that we can help World Vision reach its goal of supporting 5,000 students in Kalapata over the past five years. All we need to get there is for 134 families to stand with us for $39 per month and create a lasting connection for Christ.
Now, the journey awaits, and we can't wait to see how God changes us through these incredible lives we join together with in Kalapata.
