This year, as part of our annual tradition our Village is partnering with Embrace of Celebration, a non-profit working to impact the families in transition on 192. On December 20th, as part of our School Chapel, we are hosting a service project for our students, who will pack essentials, write cards, make bracelets and prepare packages for Embrace's Christmas community support. We invite you to get involved and support a tremendous community ministry.
Students will participate in our Christmas Chapel at 1:00. Starting at 1:30, we will have stations that each grade will participate in.
Here are some examples of items that we are looking to have donated for the project by Thursday, December 19th.
- Crockpots
- Board games
- Gift cards for teens (Ex. Ross or Nike) ?
- Dolls / Barbie’s
- Cars
- Blankets
- Embrace of Celebration is providing the food to package and additional supplies to bag.
**There are a few items for the bracelets and Christmas cards that we are looking for if anyone has these items at home.
- Beads or bracelet kits
- Pipe cleaners or string
- Christmas stickers
- Construction Paper
- Markers
