New Date for the Zoo Adventure

Weโ€™re excited to announce that the Sand for Zoo Field Trip has been rescheduled to Thursday, December 12th, 2024! After careful consideration, this new date will provide everyone more time to adjust schedules and plan accordingly. We can't wait to see our students embark on this educational adventure.

Key Details You Need to Know

Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 12th, 2024. The field trip destination is 3755 W Seminole Blvd., Sanford, FL 32771. We will gather in the parking lot area where teachers will meet the students. The trip will run from 9:45 AM to 12:00 PM and parents are responsible for transportation.

What to Wear for a Fun Day Out

Students are required to wear any Creation Village T-shirt paired with comfortable shoes. This ensures that everyone is easily identifiable and comfortable throughout the day as they explore the zoo.

Lunch Arrangements for Our Little Explorers

Parents are asked to pack a lunch for their child. However, if your child is signed up for the schoolโ€™s Nutritional Bundle, a lunch containing their entrรฉe, fruit, and a drink will be provided. This ensures that all students have a nutritious meal to keep them energized for the dayโ€™s activities.

Chaperone Guidelines to Ensure Safety and Fun

Chaperones play a crucial role in the success of this field trip. For safety and focus, chaperones may not bring additional children. During indoor rotations, some chaperones may be asked to wait outside due to room occupancy limits but will rejoin the group afterward for outdoor activities. Chaperones should keep their cell phones on silent or vibrate to minimize distractions. For lunch packing, use hard-sided coolers or plastic bins with lids, as soft-sided bags, zippered lunch bags, or cardboard boxes are prohibited.
